Service Options

Speedy Lube's service options are standardized and tailored to best fit your vehicles’ needs while following manufacturers specifications. Today some vehicle's have quick and easy access to change the oil and filter, while other vehicles have multiple lower covers with multiple and difficult access grease joints. Customers with quick and easy vehicle designs should not be charged the same as those vehicles that require more time and procedures. Speedy Lube has three levels of labor charge ranging from quick and easy to time consuming. The vehicle design dictates which labor charge fits the selected service desired. The decision on which standard service you desire is the customers.

Speedy Lube offers the following Standard Services to customers using Mobil synthetic, blend / conventional oils

Lubrication, Oil, and Filter Change (LOF) Service: This is a relatively quicker service than the Annual Service and includes some under hood fluids and checks.
Annual Service: This service is for either vehicles with gear box leak issues or those needing a Yearly Service at 10,000 to 15,000 Mile Interval Service. This Service includes checks often found on Mfr. Major Maintenance Services: the LOF service plus under-hood & vehicle fluid checks, steering and suspension, & drive-line lube checks, belt, air filter, leak check, tire pressure and wear check, seasonal checks, and more. Seasonal checks include battery, antifreeze, and air conditioning tests.
Annual Plus Service: Includes checks that are ideal for deeper checkups or pre-purchase inspections. the service includes the Annual Service plus: a 27 Pt. Maintenance Inspection and a 50 Point Safety Inspection

Why are ASE Certifications Better?
ASE, is short for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. Since 1972 their independent non-profit organization, a sister of the American College Testing organization (ACT), has worked to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service by testing and certifying experienced automotive professionals.

For today’s car owner, auto repair is more complicated than ever. Vehicles keep getting more complex, while technology and diagnostic tools constantly change as well. ASE Certified technicians are required to take an updated certification test every five years. ASE test are valid and reliable certification tests that measure skill ability, not just knowledge or reading skills and are very different than popular common open book tests. As a result, finding a person who cares enough about their work, the environment, and community to become a competent, knowledgeable automotive professional can be a real challenge.

Fortunately, over a quarter of a million professionals across the country choose to show their skill ability and knowledge by becoming ASE Certified — a benefit to their customers as well as themselves. Nothing indicates a more caring technician than one who obtained voluntary, non-regulatory (government required), ASE certification. Wouldn't that extend to the business and community?

The Speedy Lube Difference
Vehicle dealerships often follow the vehicle manufacturers maintenance schedule, which is organized by vehicle mileage. However, some items such as engine air filters may get dirty before the prescribed mileage if the vehicle is driven on dirt roads or in high construction areas. Our standard service includes a density check of the air filter to determine if it truly needs to be changed.

All Speedy Lube services and processes are performed, guided, and monitored by technicians who care enough to be an ASE Certified technician. ASE technicians are difficult and cost more to attain and retain on site, however our customers prioritize their vehicle service quality. All supplied lubricants and parts are Original Equipment quality and match manufacturer specifications.

Additionally, we carefully check drain, check plugs, and seals and offer to replace them as needed. Proper procedures regarding plug torque are standard procedure at Speedy Lube.

Synthetic Oil Advantages
The synthetic oil film is tougher and includes better additive packages in the oil. Resists viscosity (thickness) breakdown better and lasts longer. Withstands higher temperatures by resisting thermal break down better. Synthetic oils flow better in cold weather due to lower viscosities. However, lower viscosity oils may leak more if the engine is not sealed well. Synthetic blend oils are synthetic and conventional oil blended together. This option is less viscous for higher mileage engines to limit leaks. Additionally, many drivers option for a high mileage oil additive, which contains seal swell that can reduce leaks as well as additives that allow combustion contaminants to stay suspended in the oil until the oil is changed. Why not have everything checked on the vehicle at every oil change?

Disadvantages: Vehicle manufacturers do not design most vehicle fasteners or plugs to be removed and reinstalled as frequently as the oil and filter should be changed. Air filter housings, differential, transfer-case, and power train unit fasteners or plugs may prematurely wear out more quickly. This wear may damage unit casings and internal components when fasteners and plugs are worn out. Review your vehicle's maintenance manual tasks and this fact often bears true.

Advantages: Older vehicle gear box units may leak and need more frequent checking to maintain adequate fluid levels. Additionally, some people have only had oil and filter changes and should consider deeper services. Others may drive on dirt roads or in construction areas and need air filters inspected more often.

has been an ASE Blue Seal Recognized business for seven years. Services and Repairs are performed by an experienced technician with 35+ years of ASE Master Technician. Housed on the the third bay many types of maintenance and repair services. Typical repairs can be made first come first serve or with a reservation Tuesday through Saturday. Please note that we offer these services primarily as a convenience to our customers and may not accept repairs if they require more than 3 hour of labor in order to serve the volume of our customer.
